Our short time in West Chester has changed us forever! After more than a half century of life never knowing God, He apprehended us here and radically changed our lives. He has torn us down and rebuilt us, given us an amazing family and a chance to experience true church at Providence and Meeting House Ministries.
Now Father is calling us to mission: to bring His light into the world. To do that, we need to go where the artists are, which means Philadelphia. As much as it hurts us to leave our family, when God says go, we obey. He has called us to: minister to secular artists as well as artists of faith; continue to speak of His voice thru our personal artwork and, specifically for Diana, to bring His light and love to children in crisis thru volunteering in hospitals and local organizations.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations...” - Matthew 28
By His grace and wisdom, the Lord has led us to a loft space in Kensington, Philadelphia. Although this is an area in great transition, where poverty and darkness is rampant, what’s amazing, and so God, is how He has placed us in the one building which houses more artists then any other in all of Philadelphia. The space is large and extremely affordable, but is in need of much renovation to make it habitable and to enable us to live incarnationally in this community.
This type of space is extremely rare and does not come up often. After much prayer we clearly heard the Lord confirm “Go” and we will step out in faith and obedience and sign the lease on February 2nd. Renovations are scheduled to begin on February 15, so the call for your help is urgent.
To answer His call we’ll need his help with the following:
- Raise $5000 additional funds for moving expenses & renovations. $2000 has bee raised!
- Prayer Warriors & Intercessors as we declare His light into dark places
- Physical help to pack, move and renovate the space.
- Donations of:
- refrigerator
- electric stove 220V
- stackable washer/dryer 115-220V
- dishwasher
- building materials- sheet rock, 2x4s, etc.
- pellet burning stove for heating
- steel shelving
- cabinets that can be used for kitchen storage
Ways to contribute financially are:
